For The Girls Documentary
This is s a documentary about Taniiah Lewis's hair show, For The Girls. Her mission was to bring the community together, celebrate black hair styles and expressing yourself through spoken word, fashion, makeup and hair. This documentary was filmed and edited by me, Aminah McKenzie and It was such an honor to film this because Taniiah passed away shortly after her show. To honor her, our documentary was featured in a Hampton roads,Va film festival, Can Foundation Reel Time festival and Chrysler museum's Kaufman Theater.
